Blurb
Ginelle Jinx, recently single, heartbroken, and unemployed, decides to cast an impotency spell on her cheating ex. She doesn’t expect the spell to have consequences, but her house catches on fire.
Five hunky firemen come to Ginelle’s rescue, one of them being Seth Tompson, her high school sweetheart. With one fire out, she finds old flames and new ones mingling as she indulges the pleasures her five firemen have on offer.
But what will happen when she realizes she still loves Seth? Does he feel the same? Can an old flame become a raging inferno?

My Review
This was my first foray into polyamory, and it surprised me how much I enjoyed this story. Ginelle and Seth have a history, so seeing the old attraction flare back to life at their reunion borne of a calamitous situation wasn’t far fetched. The one M/M scene was particularly hot. It could have easily slipped into the dirty or porn category, but the author managed to get emotional intimacy across so it felt like love and affection between the two men. That also extended to encompass all the participants in the other scenes.
If there was anything I didn’t understand, it was:
1) the significance of Ginelle being a witch, if she even really was one. It didn’t play a role in the rest of the story. I think her mishap that was the catalyst for the story could have been anything else that didn’t involve any hocus pocus.
2) I was quite surprised by the amount of grammar mistakes (tenses) that made it past the editor. For an Evernight book that is rather unusual. I contacted the author, and she was very gracious and apologetic about the whole thing.
If you love Evernight’s Romance on the Go line, I wouldn’t let the mistakes stop you from picking up this book. Angelina knows how to write a sexy story with a splash of humor. I will definitely read some of her other books thanks to this.

I am way to vanilla for this. A fivesome with several sex scenes in a 31 page novella?? I’ve NEVER…*buys*
No way! That’s just too funny for words. I’d never have pegged you for one to read something this spicy. Then again I never thought I’d …. well, that’s a moot point now. I got my orgy cherry popped, and I liked it
I had to count the number of Ms in the bracket – LOL.
Are there plans to re-issue the book with corrections?
LOL! I can imagine anything more than two Ms is daunting.
I don’t think there are plans to re-issue it. If it’s a possibility, I’m sure the author will speak to her publisher.
Kristin and Michelle, you two crack me up!
btw Michelle…lovely surprise for you on Twitter (See my tweet to you)
